The journey does not begin with birth
Or end with death
It is eternal
We spirits
Having a life experience
Imagine birth to be the start
And death the ending
But this is not the story
We must learn
Somewhere
In our deepest memory
We recollect our eternal spirit
Our great adventure
You came into the world
And discovered -
Then we discovered you
And when you left your human form
We grieved
And as your spirit soared
We sorrowed yet again
Now I invite you
To accept that journey
The wish to be a traveller
On an expedition of discovery
… yearning and adventure
It is a journey we all make
And like all voyages
There are departures
Meetings and reunions
And nothing is lost
